Remote Workshops

Workshops are offered for those who prefer receiving general information about the legal process and want to be assisted in an on-line group setting. Workshops are presented by Self-Help attorneys or paralegals under the supervision of an attorney. Presenters cannot provide legal advice.

Ending Your Marriage or Domestic Partnership

This workshop is for self-represented litigants who need help starting their case to end their marriage or domestic partnership. We will go over important laws and procedures on divorce, legal separation, and nullity cases. By participating in the workshop, you will receive the completed court forms that you need to start your case.


Lamoreaux Justice Center:

  • You can attend this workshop remotely every 1st, 3rd, and 5th Tuesday of the month at 12:30 p.m.

North Justice Center (Fullerton):

  • You can attend this workshop in person or remotely. In October, you can attend this workshop on Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Harbor Justice Center (Newport Beach):

  • You can attend this workshop in person or remotely. In October, you can attend this workshop on Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

How to enroll for the Ending Your Marriage or Domestic Partnership Workshop:

To enroll in this workshop, you must first follow the steps below. Please note that if you register for a workshop date without completing the Workshop Homework (online form below), your reservation will be canceled:

**You must complete these 3 steps in the order listed, by Friday at 12:00 p.m. to attend the following Tuesday’s online workshop**

  1. Watch this short introductory video: click HERE
  2. Complete the Workshop Homework (online form):
  3. Log on to the Self Help Portal and register for the “Ending Your Marriage or Domestic Partnership 1” workshop. When you complete your ‘Workshop Homework (online form)’, you will receive an email from Self-Help Services with detailed instructions on how to reserve your spot for the online workshop and attend the workshop.
