Join the All Rise Student Mentor Program!
In Summer 2024, the All Rise Student Mentor Program was launched at the Orange County Superior Court, starting with three schools, and expanding to all Orange County high schools and undergraduate colleges in Summer 2025. This program offers students a unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the legal system, interact with judicial officers and court personnel, and explore potential career paths in the legal field.
Why Participate?
Building Trust and Understanding

What to Expect?
- Interaction with Courtroom Staff: Meet courtroom clerks, court reporters, interpreters, and bailiffs to understand their roles.
- Visits with District Attorney and Public Defenders: Gain insights into the prosecution and defense sides of criminal proceedings.
- Insights from Orange County Sheriff's Personnel: Learn about law enforcement's role in the judicial process.
- Observation of Live Court Proceedings: Witness trials, arraignments, and hearings to see the judicial process in action.
- Interactive Demonstrations and Legal Professionals Panel Presentations: Engage in hands-on experiences with various bar leaders and participate in mock trials.
- Courthouse Tours of Court of Appeal, Fourth District, Division Three, Federal CO Superior Court, Federal Court, and Superior Court, followed by Q&A Sessions: Get a comprehensive understanding of courthouse operations and legal procedures of each court and meet court personnel including Justices, Federal Judges, Superior Court Judicial Officers, and staff.
- Certificate of Completion: Earn a certificate acknowledging your dedication to learning about the judicial system.
