Orange County Superior Court is committed to meeting your needs. Please select from one of the divisions below.

  • Appeals

    If the amount of the dispute is $35,000.00 or less, the action is a limited civil case. If the amount of the dispute is over $35,000 or does not involve money, the matter is an unlimited civil case.

  • Civil

    If the amount of the dispute is $35,000.00 or less, the action is a limited civil case. If the amount of the dispute is over $35,000 or does not involve money, the matter is an unlimited civil case.

  • Collaborative Courts

    Collaborative or “problem solving” Courts are specialized court tracks that address underlying issues that may be present in the lives of persons who come before the court on criminal, juvenile, or dependency matters.

  • Collections

    Failure to Appear or Pay Failure to resolve your traffic ticket by the due date may result in a $100.00 civil assessment fee being imposed Penal Code §1214.1, in addition to the original bail.

  • Court Reporter Services

    Court Reporter Services (CRS): Our Mission Statement is to serve the court and community through the preservation of the official court record.

  • Criminal

    Criminal Operations Departments handle misdemeanor and felony criminal matters. Charging documents consist of Citations, Complaints, Informations and Grand Jury Indictments.

  • Family Court Services

    Family Court Services provides mediation and investigation services to families in Orange County.

  • Family Law

    The Family Law Unit handles cases, including adoptions, child support and custody, divorce/separation/annulment, domestic violence, and elder abuse.

  • Jurors/Jury Service

    Jury staff of the superior courts do not ask past or prospective jurors for information regarding credit card, bank account information and Social Security numbers.

  • Juvenile

    Lamoreaux Justice Center is a full security building and no cameras or other recording devices are permitted.

  • Language Access Services

    Services to serve the court and community by providing meaningful language access assistance to the Limited English Proficient (LEP) court users and the hearing impaired.

  • Probate

    The Probate/Mental Health Unit handles a variety of cases, including cases related to probate, mental health, and civil.

  • Small Claims

    Small Claims court is a special court where disputes are resolved quickly and inexpensively.

  • Traffic

    The Superior Court of California, County of Orange Traffic Divisions process traffic and minor offense violations filed by law enforcement agencies within Orange County.
