Court Reporter and Interpreter Services
(CRIS) is part of the Judicial Support Services Division. Our mission
is to cover the needs of Superior Court of California, County of Orange
with licensed court reporters and certified interpreters. It is our
duty to ensure that court reporters and interpreters meet the proper
qualifications and standards as set by the state of California and
Superior Court of California, County of Orange
Court Reporter Mission Statement
The mission of Court Reporter Services is to serve the needs of the bench by providing verbatim shorthand reporting and electronic recording monitor services in a professional and timely manner, as governed by state and federal laws. We promote professional excellence through training, mentoring, and the use of state-of-the-art technology.
How to request a court reporter
Any party desiring the services of a court reporter for a proceeding in a department that normally does not have a court reporter available must file a Request for Court Reporting Services 10 days before the hearing or trial date. Click here to download request form.
