Santa Ana- The Orange County Superior Court is launching its recruitment for Superior Court Commissioners. All those interested in learning more about the position and the application process are invited to attend a panel discussion entitled, “So You Want to Be a Commissioner.”
The program will be held on Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. at the Superior Court, County of Orange, Central Justice Center (700 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana) in the third floor Jury Assembly Room. “The Court is seeking to attract a diverse pool of applicants by partnering with local and minority bar associations to host this event,” said Presiding Judge Nancy Wieben Stock. The event, moderated by Superior Court Judge Karen L. Robinson, will feature judicial and attorney panelists discussing the range of commissioner assignments, the application process and employment with the Court.
The recruitment opens May 24, 2006. Applicants must submit an Orange County Superior Court Commissioner Personal Data Questionnaire and a résumé by 5:00 p.m. on June 30, 2006.
